Define what you need from the drawing
Are you starting a new design, reviewing an earlier drawing or resolving a discrepancy after installation? State the reason before sending files. The case may require site-information gathering, design coordination or updated handover records, each with a different scope. Do not call all these activities drawing approval before identifying the actual requirement.
Collect design inputs in a reference version
Send the available architectural drawing, the actual use of each area and planned changes. Mark unresolved dimensions or boundaries. This identifies information the specialist needs before finalising the solution, rather than designing around assumptions that may change once fit-out begins.
- Latest architectural file with a date or version number.
- Door positions, partitions and shared areas shown in the available file.
- The activity and areas used for storage, work and customer service.
Review conflicts before implementing changes
A fit-out contractor may propose moving a partition, changing a door or adding a use area. Record the change and submit it for specialist review before relying on it in safety works. Approval of decorative appearance does not automatically review technical consequences. Do not send different versions to teams working on the same site.
Agree the safety-plan deliverables
The quotation explains file formats, coordination, revisions and visits required. Distinguish drawing preparation from any authority-submission procedure and from installation. The Saudi Fire Protection Code is a technical reference for specialists. A drawing alone does not prove official approval or completed works.
Maintain a simple revision log
Record each change, its reason, resulting version and recipients. Mark old versions as superseded to prevent accidental use. If an installation conflict appears, document reality and review the implications. Do not amend a drawing after completion merely to hide a discrepancy that has not received technical review.
Compare installation with the handover scope
At acceptance, relate the review to the latest drawing agreed for the work and contracted installation items. Record discrepancies and the action needed for each, then identify final documents required. This helps organise reports, certificates and licensing, and gives the owner a comprehensible reference for later alterations.
Send your safety-plan request in Taif
Include the activity, project stage, latest drawing and main change or comment. We serve requests in Taif. Visits and on-site works are defined after location review in the quotation. Plans can connect to safety-system supply and installation, followed by documents and licensing follow-up, with stage responsibilities and deliverables agreed before execution.
Questions to help you get started
Is a photograph of a hand-drawn layout enough?
It may help explain the idea initially. Information accuracy and required files are reviewed before defining design feasibility and information-gathering scope.
Does the drawing price include installation?
Only if the quotation states it. Design, coordination, installation and documents are separated so you know each item's scope.
Can I use a similar shop's drawing?
It may help identify questions, but your design is reviewed against your own activity, details and site, rather than changing the name.
Does a decoration change require drawing review?
Tell the specialist so its effect can be assessed. We do not assume every change is substantial or that all changes have no safety impact.
