Begin with an inventory of the existing system
We review the activity, site, systems and equipment list, drawings, and fault and maintenance history where available. A shop with limited equipment differs from a warehouse with a firefighting network, pumps and an alarm panel. We also identify what belongs to your unit and what the building management operates, so the scope covers the equipment your premises depend on.
Initial assessment before agreeing the contract scope
The review identifies system condition, equipment out of service and items needing testing or correction. Previous faults are not automatically included in a maintenance contract price. We explain any initial repairs or replacements, then define how the system enters the maintenance programme. Where records are missing, we identify the information required rather than assuming the system is suitable from its appearance.
What should the quotation explain?
We make the maintenance scope understandable and comparable before agreement.
- The systems, equipment and site covered by the contract.
- The agreed visits, periodic tasks and tests.
- How faults are reported and the response times specified in the contract.
- Included materials and parts, and items requiring a separate quotation.
- Visit reports and records of faults, repairs and further testing where needed.
Work depends on the system type
The scope may include checking and operating alarm components and reviewing firefighting equipment, pumps, hoses, extinguishers and emergency lighting, according to the installation and the specialist’s remit. Tasks and frequency are set according to the system, manufacturer instructions and applicable requirements. We do not apply one visit schedule or one test to every system.
Maintenance supports licensing and operation
The Salamah service lists a valid safety system maintenance contract among its documents and specifies attachments according to the activity. We review your premises’ requirements, contract details, term and covered systems, and coordinate the appropriate document through an authorised service provider. Actual work and its records remain part of the service: holding a contract alone does not repair a fault or correct a site deficiency.
Know what happened after each visit
We arrange a service record showing the work date, included equipment, results, findings and any replaced parts, within the agreement. Completed work is distinguished from recommendations that require a decision or additional cost. This record helps track recurring faults, prepare renewals and transfer information to a new person responsible for the site.
Maintenance for one site or several
Send the cities, site list, known systems, current contract status and expiry date. We establish whether an initial visit is needed. A quotation follows scope review, with site work defined for each location in Saudi Arabia. Maintenance can be linked to compatible replacement parts, corrective work or licensing documents under a clear agreement.
Questions to help you get started
Does the maintenance contract include every spare part?
That depends on the quotation. We identify included parts and materials, exclusions and the pricing process for replacements, so you know the maintenance cost and what needs additional approval.
Can you maintain a system installed by another contractor?
We review the system type, components, records, condition and availability of suitable support or parts. We then define what can be covered and what requires a specialist provider or prior corrective work.
Is extinguisher refilling included in the contract?
This is specified according to extinguisher type, condition and need. An extinguisher may require specialist servicing or replacement; we do not assume refilling is appropriate for every unit.
Does obtaining a maintenance contract complete the Salamah licence?
The contract is one of the documents the process may require. We review the premises’ other requirements and can coordinate reports, certificates, corrective work and permit follow-up under an additional scope.
