Define the deliverable you need first
A customer asking for a suitability report may need a preliminary assessment, or may have a specific requirement for a technical document from an authority. We begin with the wording and purpose of the request, then state in the quotation whether the deliverable is a readiness assessment or a specified formal report within the licensing process. You know the service outcome before contracting, and a commonly used label does not replace the document actually required.
When is the review useful?
A review can help when taking over previously occupied premises, changing an activity, altering the area or layout, or responding to findings that prevent an application from progressing. It can also help before spending on installations that may later need alteration. We consider what belongs to your unit and what depends on the building or its shared systems, rather than assuming every item is the tenant’s responsibility.
What do we review in the premises and documents?
The specialist defines the review according to the activity and circumstances. We bring technical information and documents together to produce a list of decisions that can be followed through.
- Consistency between the activity description, area, actual use and available records.
- Existing drawings and changes to layouts and exits.
- The condition of alarm, firefighting and other safety equipment relevant to the scope.
- Previous findings, missing documents and responsibilities shared with the building owner.
Send the information you already have
Start with the city, activity, area and licence status, and attach the wording of any finding and available drawings or previous reports. Tell us about changes in use, storage or equipment and any areas shared with other businesses. We identify what needs clarification or a site visit, then define the review before pricing subsequent work.
An organised action list
We group the results into site work, drawing updates and documents or details to complete. Each item has a description, a follow-up step and a responsibility defined in the agreement. If a technical report, electrical certificate or works compliance inspection is needed, we connect it to the correct process. You can also appoint us to carry out and follow up the work under a separate quotation or one premises preparation package.
What do you receive?
You receive a summary of the review scope and the information on which it was based, together with gaps, proposed actions and the next documents required, as agreed. Where a formal professional report is required, it is coordinated with the provider authorised to prepare and issue it once the relevant requirements are met. A readiness assessment helps organise the application; it does not take the place of the competent authority’s approval.
From assessment to a complete file
You do not need to purchase every service if some requirements are already met. We identify what can be used and what needs updating, and distinguish inspection, corrective work, further checks and follow-up in the quotation. We handle requests across Saudi Arabia and define site work after reviewing the location. The aim is to start with the work actually needed and maintain a clear record of completion.
Questions to help you get started
Is a suitability report the same as an immediate or non-immediate technical report?
We determine this from the requirement and the activity’s process. The suitability assessment described here identifies readiness and gaps. A technical report required by the platform is a document with its own process and authorised source, and may form a subsequent step in the service.
Does every business need a document called a suitability report?
We do not assume that every activity requires one document under this name. We review the authority’s request and the needs of your premises, then define the appropriate deliverable before agreement.
Do you review building systems when the shop is in a shared building?
We define the boundaries of your unit, its dependence on shared building systems, and the information or coordination needed from the owner or management. Any inspection beyond your unit is stated in the scope.
Does the assessment mean the licence will be issued?
The outcome describes readiness within the scope reviewed. Licence issuance depends on meeting the process requirements and the competent authority’s review. We can follow up the agreed steps to their defined outcome.
