Before the first component is installed
We review the activity, use of spaces, available plans and existing systems, then identify any design, approval or corrective work needed before execution. Buying separate components without understanding their compatibility or locations can lead to rework. Our scope therefore defines the required system and its interfaces with the building, rather than relying on a general promise to install safety equipment.
Supply and installation work the quotation may include
Systems and components are selected according to the project, approved plan and applicable requirements; not every item is necessary in every shop. We explain specifications, quantities and supply and installation boundaries so that you can compare quotations on an equivalent basis.
- Fire alarm systems: the panel, detectors, manual call points, notification devices and wiring included in the scope.
- Firefighting systems, components, networks and pumps where required by the project design.
- Fire extinguishers, signs, emergency lighting and other equipment specified for the premises.
- Modifying or completing existing systems after checking their condition and interface compatibility.
- The tests, records, operating introduction and handover documents named in the quotation.
Coordination with fit-out protects completed work
We establish installation routes, device locations and their relationship to ceilings, partitions and electrical works before associated work proceeds. In existing premises, we discuss access, working hours, protecting contents and any necessary interruption. If a plan or use of a space changes, we review the effect on the safety system before approving the change; moving a device alone is not enough without considering the system impact.
Testing and handover are part of the scope
We explain in advance what we will test and how results will be recorded, according to the installed systems, plan and applicable requirements. Handover includes the agreed test results, equipment information, plans and basic operating introduction. Any issue identified by testing is addressed within the agreed responsibility for the work, and its status is explained before the handover item is closed.
Installation, certification and permitting are connected stages
Installing a system does not automatically issue a licence or certificate. If the file needs an installation certificate, technical report or permit follow-up, we expressly include those services and complete their procedures through the appropriate process and authorised entity. You can request installation alone or combine execution, plans, documentation and licensing in a premises preparation package to reduce fragmented follow-up.
Information for the quotation and installation cost
Send the activity, city, plan or site photographs and preparation status, noting any existing system. Cost depends on specifications, quantities, routes, access, network condition and testing and handover boundaries. We identify necessary civil or electrical work, who provides it and whether it is included, as well as warranty and maintenance where they are part of the quotation.
Special systems and kitchen-hood protection within a defined scope
If your request concerns a commercial kitchen hood, an equipment room or a special suppression system such as FM200, send the intended use, drawings and existing equipment information. We coordinate review of the solution with the authorised specialist before defining components, supply and execution. Fire-protection work is separated from ventilation, electrical work and any required interfaces, with tests and handover identified in the quotation. The room name alone does not determine the suppression agent or system.
Cameras and access control as a separate part of premises preparation
You can include CCTV and access-control needs in a request to coordinate premises preparation. We define the system’s purpose, covered areas, and responsibilities for cabling, power, storage and testing, assigning work that requires an authorised specialist to that party. Any interface with evacuation exits or fire systems is reviewed within the appropriate design. Security-system documentation is not treated as a fire-system installation certificate, and the security scope is included only when expressly listed in the quotation.
A usable handover record for new or modified systems
For a new or modified system, the quotation defines the component record, drawing reference, included tests and status of comments at handover. If several contractors are involved, we identify who coordinates testing and who remedies each comment. Agreed operating information and documents are delivered with completed work distinguished from outstanding items. Acceptance therefore covers more than an equipment invoice or the completion of cabling and pipework.
Questions to help you get started
Do you install systems for a small shop as well as a warehouse or factory?
Yes. We review each project according to its activity, size and condition, then determine a suitable scope. We do not use one equipment list for every business.
Can you install equipment I have already bought?
Its specifications, condition and compatibility with the design can be reviewed before accepting installation. A purchase invoice alone does not establish suitability for the project.
Does the service include an installation certificate?
Certification is added when the process requires it and it is included in the quotation, with procedures completed through the authorised entity. We explain the distinction between execution, documentation and licensing outcomes.
Is a maintenance agreement available after installation?
If maintenance is needed, its scope, frequency and price are defined in a separate quotation or clear item. Handover or a product warranty does not automatically provide an open-ended maintenance agreement.
How can I start without a ready plan?
Send the activity information, site photographs and available area. We identify what is needed to prepare or complete a safety plan before pricing the final installation.
